Common Products

There are many solid, soluble, and liquid products used as fertilizers around the world.

The products may have organic or mineral origin.

The major nutrients nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) N-P-K is applied as solid mineral fertilizers. Significant quantities of nitrogen are also applied as anhydrous ammonia.

Anhydrous ammonia is a gas that is sold in liquefied form under pressure in the same way that LP gas is stored and transported.

The major mineral products are listed in the table below and stated also detailed in this website under: UREA - MOP - EDTA - DAP - DCP - FMP - MCP - MKP - MSP

Many of the solid products can be mixed to create blends that meet specific nutrient needs of crops and pastures.

N = Nitrogen      P = Phosphorus      K = Potassium      S = Sulphur      Ca=Calcium
